The mission of the Chance Theater is to contribute to a more compassionate, connected, vibrant and creative community. We do this by producing contemporary and provocative stories, reinventing classic musicals, developing new work, nurturing a company of artists, offering innovative education programs, and setting a standard for the highest quality intimate theatre experience.
A BOLD NEW HOME:
Chance Theater is in the early stages of preparing
its capital campaign to move into a 250-seat venue. This larger seating capacity
will maintain an intimate theatre experience while giving us the ability to
support a larger staff, more professional artist contracts, and a deeper, more
engaged education program while also allowing us the freedom to continue taking
the artistic risks that have made us Orange County’s award-winning contemporary
theater.
