In his comedic solo piece, David Nathan Schwartz creates his roller coaster experiences within the maze of medicine, a potentially deadly operation and the reclamation of his life, transforming himself into the over forty characters that occupy his surrealistic world. One reviewer wrote: “…My Brain Tumor makes you laugh, empathize and then laugh again at the foibles of our humanity, our support systems and our own bodies” The original production earned an LA Weekly Theatre Pick of the Week and other critical kudos. Subsequent productions have followed at theatres throughout Los Angeles and the United States.
