Diane was born and raised in New York City. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Washington University, St Louis and was in private practice for over 25 years. She is now retired. She and her late husband, Igal Silber MD, shared 54 wonderful years together. Together they appreciated and supported the performing and visual arts; while collecting the latter. They also traveled extensively. Diane continues to pursue these passions. Presently, Diane is on the Board of the Laguna Food Pantry and on the Advisory Council of the National Dance Initiative. She lives in Laguna Beach, CA.
