Our Town

Chance Theater presents Tornton Wilder’s classic tale of life: Our Town.

Underneath the simple lives depicted in this calssic tale, there lies the history of every person who has yearned for happiness. Emily Webb is more than just a little girl who grows up before our eyes. She is a woman that represents us all as we race along through our lives, never knowing how beautiful the most unimportant things truly are.

Although Evolving Stage is usually set aside for original works, the Chance and Director Ian Downs think that it is the perfect slot to experiment as well. This production of Our Town will have a couple subtle changes, i.e. sound effects done by a person onstage instead of offstage as is usually done.
